City view in Mitsui Garden Hotel Jingugaien Tokyo Premier

Easily one of my favorite hotels I've stayed in Tokyo. It had easy access to subways and buses, was right next to the gorgeous Shinjuku Gyeon, and had modern room design. The balcony was exceptionally great, with the promised garden view that didn't disappoint. The ground floor bakery and restaurant were also very good. It feels slight removed from the city bustle, which is nice at the end of a long day (but be ready to walk a bit to get to the nearest conbini for a late night snack).

Breakfast in Mitsui Garden Hotel Jingugaien Tokyo Premier

The hotel staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, particularly with helping to send our luggage to our next hotel. The hotel itself is beautifully designed and decorated, and watching the sunset on the rooftop terrace was a highlight (we could see Mr Fuji!) We also liked that the hotel is in a quiet area, away from the chaos of busier parts of Tokyo, but has a metro stop right next to it for quick and convenient access to Shinjuku, Shibuya etc.

Food in Mitsui Garden Hotel Jingugaien Tokyo Premier

We enjoyed the bakery selections for breakfast and a coffee which we loved having while sitting in the quiet space on level 2 looking out over the beautiful gardens. We enjoyed a fabulous evening meal which was delicious and the staff were so attentive.

It was my fourth time staying in this hotel. I like the compact rooms with a nice bathroom and a balcony. I had a room at the fourth sides of the building and my least favoruite is the back (as it overlooks the trainstation and the interstate) Try to avoid those rooms, although the noise cancelling is very good. There is a big public bath on the 12th floor. I also recommend the bakery annex the lobby for some quality bread. I also had breakfast and it ris really lovely with fresh products. You can choose a Japanese or western breakfast (or just combine). Kudos to the staff and I always feel very welcome. Location is top: The hotel is just a street away from the National Stadium. There are two train stations nearby: Kokuritsu-Kyogijo Station on the Toei-Oedo Line and the JR Sendagaya Station on the Chuo Line. Both Roppongi and Shinjuku are 10 minutes away by train. The neighbourhood is very quiet (unless there is a soccer game or a gymnastic concourse). The Meiji Shrine is a 10 minute walk away.

Lobby or reception in Mitsui Garden Hotel Jingugaien Tokyo Premier

Location is great, in the green and quiet area, yet close to metro and JR. Very clean and green around. The hotel is new, everything was in great condition. The room is small but we fit in there. Lots of toiletries provided and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The lobby is beautiful and the room too!

View (from property/room) in Mitsui Garden Hotel Jingugaien Tokyo Premier

we had a very comfortable stay at the Mitsui Garden Hotel, the location is excellent with access to a metro and overground. station. Breakfast was not included in our booking, but there is a very nice onsite bakery which offers a range of pastries and sandwiches.

The beds here are very very comfortable. We both got the best nights sleep. The rooms are small but the location is convenient and the bakery is yummy. Would definitely stay here again.

Superb breakfast with ample Western and Asian options. You need to queue invariably, as the space doesn't accommodate all guests. Larger rooms than usual for a Japanese hotel - balcony with beautiful views Two stops away from Shinjuku on the Oedo line, so very easy to get to the action BUT also very quiet. Subway is right next door. Generous amenities and nice products in the room. Coffee replaced without fail, which is always awesome. Very efficient cleaning service & replacement of towels etc is prompt.

Property building in Mitsui Garden Hotel Jingugaien Tokyo Premier

The hotel was nice, the room was nicely modern but a little small for ourselves and our big suitcases. The bathroom was a grand size and they did change the sheets and towels daily. There was a pool that we didn't use while there but the elevator had a little indicator to tell you how many people were using the pool which was pretty cool. We mainly booked this spot for the location, but it wasn't as close as I had hoped; it wasn't far and there was a train across the road and another line a 5 minute walk away, but it took just as long to get where I needed to go from the other places I had been staying. The staff were really helpful and even stored our bags 3 days ahead of our stay so that was very accommodating of them and I appreciated that a lot! If you like a reliable big name hotel experience this is a good choice.
