The upscale feel of these rooms exceeded my expectations, as well as the rest of the hotel. The rooms are very small and somewhat tight for 2 people, but this is pretty typical in Japan so I was not surprised. I loved the aesthetic of the room as it felt chic and updated. This hotel had great amenities and the products they provided in-room felt slightly upscale. I HIGHLY recommend the breakfast buffet, it was one of the best that we had our entire 2 week trip. After jet-lag and a long travel day, it was great to wake up and eat this healthy, beautiful variety of foods and drinks (some western and some Japanese). The location is quieter and walkable to some things, but not in the most convenient of locations - since we had just arrived to Japan we appreciate the quiet before fully immersing into how loud and hectic Tokyo can get. Also it was great there was a gym and hot tub - we used both of these facilities and they were nice and clean (although the hours could be a little more flexible). We used the hotel services for an in-room massage and it was one of the worst massages I've ever had - I would not recommend this and think the hotel should work with another outsourced company (but I'm not dinging the hotel for this).

It was my fourth time staying in this hotel. I like the compact rooms with a nice bathroom and a balcony. I had a room at the fourth sides of the building and my least favoruite is the back (as it overlooks the trainstation and the interstate) Try to avoid those rooms, although the noise cancelling is very good. There is a big public bath on the 12th floor. I also recommend the bakery annex the lobby for some quality bread. I also had breakfast and it ris really lovely with fresh products. You can choose a Japanese or western breakfast (or just combine). Kudos to the staff and I always feel very welcome. Location is top: The hotel is just a street away from the National Stadium. There are two train stations nearby: Kokuritsu-Kyogijo Station on the Toei-Oedo Line and the JR Sendagaya Station on the Chuo Line. Both Roppongi and Shinjuku are 10 minutes away by train. The neighbourhood is very quiet (unless there is a soccer game or a gymnastic concourse). The Meiji Shrine is a 10 minute walk away.

The hotel was nice, the room was nicely modern but a little small for ourselves and our big suitcases. The bathroom was a grand size and they did change the sheets and towels daily. There was a pool that we didn't use while there but the elevator had a little indicator to tell you how many people were using the pool which was pretty cool. We mainly booked this spot for the location, but it wasn't as close as I had hoped; it wasn't far and there was a train across the road and another line a 5 minute walk away, but it took just as long to get where I needed to go from the other places I had been staying. The staff were really helpful and even stored our bags 3 days ahead of our stay so that was very accommodating of them and I appreciated that a lot! If you like a reliable big name hotel experience this is a good choice.

I recently stayed at Mitsui garden hotel and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The hotel's design was simple yet tasteful, making it very comfortable to stay in. The location was perfect for me as I enjoy taking walks in the beautiful green surrounding, plus it was only a short 20-minute walk to Shibuya. The laundry room came in handy during my stay. The staff was also a highlight, always willing to help with a smile and make sure I had everything I needed. But my favorite part of the hotel was the hot public bath, which was the perfect way to unwind after a long day of exploring the city. And, of course, I can't forget to mention the incredible view from the rooftop - a must-see! Overall, I highly recommend Mitsui garden hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Tokyo.

We loved the rooms and location. We had to reserve 2 rooms because there was 4 of us (2 adults, 2 teens). For 2 ppl, the rooms are sufficient in size and comfortable. The view from the 11th floor was great. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The location was perfect for us- sitting between Shibuya and Shinjuku. We were able to walk (about 25min) to Harajuku. Easy access to the subway but away from the hustle/bustle of downtown. I would definitely stay here again.
